On this page, I've listed some of the invaluable online resources that I've been known to
frequent on occasion. Again, more to come soon...
code
The big draw here are the thousands of free articles and code snippets on developing with .NET and Visual Studio. I should caution that
some of the content posted here may not be the most robust implementation - there is always more than one way to carve up the smorgasbord and
all of them can't be best. That said, this is a good starting point for your research to find that sole, best implementation.
music production
Sound on Sound
Hands down, Sound on Sound is easily the "world's best music recording magazine". How do I know this? Because they champion this title on their own byline
so it must be true... OK, I can also personally attest to this from empirical observation, at least among those published in the English language.
This is the only magazine that I read (and re-read) cover to cover, every month without fail. SOS simultaneously publishes the full editorial content of each issue to
their Web site (paid subscription required to access the full contents of the previous eight most recent issues). With years of back issues also
indexed and accessible online, this is a truly deep compendium of information about modern music production for anoraks like me. Highly recommended.
